The Polish Educational Society is a charitable organisation supporting Polish education in the United Kingdom and an association for Polish supplementary schools and individuals involved in the teaching of Polish language and popularising the knowledge of the Polish culture in the UK. At present, it works with 130 Polish Language Saturday Schools in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and in the Channel Islands. PES offers a wide range of support to all involved in the setting up and running of Polish Supplementary Schools. It also runs an Examination Centre where students are able to sit Polish Language examinations at GCSE and A-Level. The organisation promotes Polish education and culture internationally by co-operating with organisations in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States and represents the interests of Polish education abroad.
